PATTY'S GOT MAIL (SLEEK MAKEUP)

I'm a makeupholic!  Seriously, I can't stop buying this shit!  My shoe game is dying and my clothes game is crying for attention, because I'm focusing so much attention on my face.  Anywho, I was watching YT guru Welcome2DivasWorld video where she attended Sleek Makeup Beauty Blogger Event, and she featured many of the new palettes that they will be coming out with, in the near future.

One of Sleek's newest palettes is the Limited Edition Avoir La Peche collection Paraguaya.  This palette screams Spring/Summer time, with these gorgeous peach tone colors.  I've always been a huge fan of Sleek eyeshadows, so I'm very excited to create some gorgeous summer time looks with these colors.  I love the packaging and the biggest bonus are that names of each eye shadow.  I hope this is something new that Sleek does with all of their future palettes.

The Divine Acid palette, wasn't available the previous times I've ordered from Sleek, so I took this opportunity to pick it up, while they were in stock.  I don't have any vibrant and loud eyeshadows like the ones featured in this palette, so I'm more than excited to try them out, since I'm trying to stray away from the neutral tones.

**These pics don't do these eyeshadows any justice**

UPCOMING BEAUTY REVIEWS

Recently, I took a trip to CVS and stocked up on a couple of new items to review for a future blog post.  I heard positive things about both of these beauty items, and I look forward to testing them out and giving a full review on them.

Though I'm obsessed with the Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse Foundation, I'm always in the market to look for other great drugstore beauty items, and so I wanted to try the Maybelline Super Stay Makeup in Caramel.  It is "supposedly" a 24hr wear.  That, I'm not sure is true, but I will like to find a foundation that has long staying power like the Maybelline Matte Mousse Foundation.  This foundation was priced at about $10.00.  If you shop at CVS, you get a $3.00 coupon on the purchase of any Maybelline products.

I was looking at YouTube makeup guru AttitudeoftheCity videos of her March/April Obsessions and she featured this product as one of her favs.  She stated that this product keeps her face matte throughout the day and allows the makeup to stay on without doing any retouching.  A lot of women rave about Black Radiance and I'm excited to try this product.

PATTY'S GOT MAIL (SHOEDAZZLE)

As of lately, I haven't been all that much impressed with Shoedazzle and I'm beginning to contemplate whether or not I should cancel my membership.  I have one more credit I haven't used, so I will make my decision depending on what I see for next month's selection.  Anywho, I didn't like any of the shoes, even the alternatives, and so I decided to try out their handbag selections.  I choose this red clutch, because I have no red handbags in my collection, and I love a clutch that can also be used as a sling bag.  One thing I have to give credit to, is that Shoedazzle knows how to package their products, and I love this huge tote that came with the bag.  It would be perfect to carry on the beach or grocery shopping.  I really like this light weight clutch, but I'm not impressed by the chain linked strap.  It doesn't look sturdy enough, but I will see what happens, when I finally sport it.  Are you a fan of Shoedazzle and what do you think of the company?  I honestly think Kim Kardashian needs to hire better stylist.

THRIFT/VINTAGE MODERN DAY INSPIRED FASHION PART 3

I scored, big time, when I picked up this Jackie O inspired tweed jacket at a vintage store in Hialeah, Florida.  I never had the opportunity to wear this out, but decided to feature it in my favorites, because it's a one of a kind piece.  This is what thrifting is all about...finding unique, one of a kind pieces for a great price,  just $7.00.

THRIFT/VINTAGE MODERN DAY INSPIRED FASHION PART 2

I got this 70's inspired, light grey ruffed blouse from Goodwill.  I paired this blouse with a pair of my favorite black sequin leggings from Express and strappy sandals from Shoedazzle.  Goodwill is a great place to find modern and vintage inspired clothing. for great prices.  The clothing doesn't have that old fashion, moth ball smell, and they are in great condition.

THRIFT/VINTAGE MODERN DAY INSPIRED FASHION PART 1

This week, I will feature some of my favorite thrift store/vintage clothing, paired together with a modern twist.  I'm a lover of vintage/thrift shopping and I'm always looking to diversify my wardrobe with these unique pieces.  These pieces were brought months ago, and I finally had the chance to showcase them to you guys.  Some of them, I have never worn out in public, and so if you see me model with it, in the club, don't feel no way.  Lol!

I brought this military style dress from my favorite vintage store on Ebay, Tin Roof Vintage.  I paired it with this hot pair of peep toe ankle strap sandals from Aldos.  The dress can be worn belted or unbelted to cinch up the waist.

INGLOT HAUL

I went to Inglot to buy a palette for my friend Tsahi aka The Makeup Artist, and couldn't resist getting a palette for myself.  I love my first palette, but it doesn't reflect the vibrant colors of Spring/Summer, and so I wanted to add a few colors that would give me a brighter outlook for this humid season.  When I got to Inglot, I was in the midst of a couple of beauty school students, on their way to purchasing their first Inglot palette.  I didn't need any assistance purchasing my eye shadows.  I kind of had an idea on what colors I wanted to choose.  So here they are, and unfortunately, I didn't write down the number of the eye shadows.  Note to Inglot, they should really add names to these shadows.  This number thing nah work!

Inglot 5 shadow palette $30.00
#26 AMC Pure Pigment $14.00
Makeup Remover Wipes $4.00

I AM NOT MY HAIR

So I did the big chop!  Never thought this day would come, but I've contemplated this change for a long time, and reaching 31, made me realize it was time to transition over to a new style.  Many people are shocked by this change, but the same way I transitioned from relaxers to locs, is the same way that they will be able to get use to my short cut.  Thank you, to those that have sent me private texts and emails welcoming the change.  It feels good.
