AMY WINEHOUSE LIONESS: HIDDEN TREASURES REVIEW

I've been a fan of Amy Winehouse since her platinum selling Back To Black album.  She came on the scene with a different look, attitude and the most soulful voice since Etta James.  I already felt such a  connection with her "I don't give a fuck" attitude, so it was heartbreaking to hear of her untimely death.  Picking up Lioness: Hidden Treasures, once again, brought me back to why I loved this woman so much.  I'm simply in love with this album.  If you're looking for a an album of new tracks, you may be disappointed, since many of the tracks are covers of some legendary songs, with a soulful/jazzy twist.  The album includes 12 tracks.  My favorite tracks are Our Day Will Come, which has a reggae/ska feel, Like Smoke, which features Nas, and Bestfriends, Right?  Don't be surprised if you shed a tear or two, so if you're experiencing a breakup, I suggest you don't listen to it alone.  Lol.  This album is a must have!
