OOTN LATE NIGHT DINNER ON SOUTH BEACH

I was supposed to go to the opening of Miami Carnival at Gulfstream but I left my house after 2 in the morning and felt like it made no sense to pay money to party for about an hour and half.  My sister and I decided to head to South Beach for a late night dinner.  This is what I wore...

Dress: Love Culture
Shoes: Max Studio (DSW)
Clutch: Vintage Fendi (Ebay)
Earrings: Forever 21
Watch: Michael Kors (Nordstrom)

CORAL REEF SECTION OF NATURAL FREAKS UNLIMITED "COLOURS OF THE EARTH"

Friday night, Natural Freaks Unlimited launched their Miami Carnival presentation of "Colours of the Earth".  Here is one of the sections that launched, Coral Reef, designed by Alicia & Tony Phillip.  This was one of the sections that instantly caught my attention.  What a sexy costume!!!!  I love the mix or coral and I believe is turquoise and the 3 options within this section.  I predict that this will be an early sellout.

Prices:
Frontline $230.00
Frontline w/ collar $250.00
Backline $200.00

Registration will begin next week.  Log on to http://www.naturalfreaksultd.com for more information.

PATTY'S WISH LIST

Every makeup blogger and wannabee has been raving over Urban Decay's Naked palette.  Every review I've read has been overwhelming positive to the point where women are stating that they have actually "throwing away" their previous palettes and replacing it with this one.  I'm a neutral gal and these colors are more up my alley.  I would like to purchase it if I can actually find one on the shelf.  They've been selling out like crazy.  It's priced at $44.00.

I'm really looking to change my skin care product once again.  Though I love Aveda Outer Peace Foaming Cleanser, I'm still breaking out and my face still looks and feels very oily.  I've been looking at a couple of tutorials and read some great reviews on this product, Philosophy Purity Made Simple.  I would like to try out this product and hope that it can somehow clear up the existing acne while preventing new ones from occurring.

For YEARS, I've been wanting to do this to my earlobe and unfortunately, I'm dating a guy that is against it.  Though I'm a rebellious child, I do respect my relationship more and wouldn't want to do something that may make my bf uncomfortable.  After years of compromising, the bf has agreed that he doesn't want to stop me from doing something that I want to do and said he would be fine with me stretching my earlobe.  I'm a white girl at heart, trapped in a black woman's body, so this would be very natural for me to do.  Yes, I'm going to finally do it and I'm so excited.  I'm actually going to do the second hole so that I can still wear earrings in my first hole.

One Michael Kors watch isn't enough for me, because I now want a second one, a white one.  I've been eyeing down this watch since my bf bought me the first one.  It's priced at about 200.00 and worth every penny.

I have yet to put my hands on the iphone 4.  It's been a busy and expensive summer, what can I say!  I currently have the iphone 3g and I'm never one to be out of the loop no matter the cost.

"I need a vacation" (in my Jeezy voice)!  Yes I know I just came back from Trinidad 3 weeks ago, but I'm longing for a REAL vacation.  It's sad that Florida are neighbors with the Bahamas and I have never gone.  I would love a weekend getaway with my hubby to this island.

NO ADVICE FROM ME!

Most of you, that have been loyal readers of Chatty Patty, know that most of the content on this blog dealt with my relationships issues, friendship and other personal subject matter, but lately I haven't been in the mood to give much advice.  Firstly, I myself have been having my own share of relationship issues that I've been actively working on for months now.  This has left me drained and not interested in hearing about the issues or successes of anyone else's relationship.  I guess it's true what they say about people...maybe I can't be happy for someone else, if I myself aren't feeling the same.  Not to say that I'm jealous, but if you are going through shit, what advice or positive feedback can you truly give someone.  Secondly, I just feel that much of my advice goes in vain.  Honestly, most of the advice I've been giving lately is for my better half, my sister, and it has caused some serious arguing between the two of us.  My sister fails to realize that I truly love and care for her and her happiness means more to me than the happiness she tends to give to a man, who most of the time aren't worth shit.  I've been accused of being a "hater" and "negative".  I think of myself as neither one.  I'm a person who likes to tell you the truth.  If you need a sugar coated response, then doh bother me with your shit.  I refuse to lie and pretend when it comes to someone I would die for and so, I am brutally honest with her, and it never turns out to be a good thing, because it ends in the exchange of nasty words to one another and shedding of tears.  This helps neither party and so I stray away from giving advice.  So that is what's going on and why my relationship chat of Chatty Patty have been a bit quiet.  I feel bad, because our talks with one another was the foundation of this blog and I hope it's not something that I forget about.  This blog is intended to be well rounded with subject matters from beauty, to sex, to financial help.  I'm sure you guys know what I'm going through and hope that you can be a bit patient and understanding.

OOTN FRIDAYS ON FRIDAY DATE NIGHT

This wasn't supposed to be a date night, but circumstances beyond our control made it one.  Either way, I had a nice night with my hubby.  I went to TGI Fridays and this is what I wore...

Top: Sears
White pants: Zara

FOTD SMOKEY PURPLE EYE

I'm in no way trying to be a makeup artist.  I'm a woman who loves beauty and have an addiction to buying makeup and so I love to put them to use by experimenting with these products.  I'm going to do more FOTD in order to get better at applying makeup and I would love your honest opinion and recommend products that can better assist me.  I'm going to call this look Smokey Purple.  I'm a nude/neutral kind of gal and with winter on the horizon, I want to work with more darker colors and I was looking at Makeup artist Kandee and I was inspired by one of the looks she did.

Here are the products I used...

Here is the finished look...
